Ravi wears several hats and is a Digital Marketer and an Angel Investor. He is the founder of Srijan Capital, which is focused on angel investments and incubation. He leads the Marketing efforts for CouponRani.com, a top coupon site in India, which was incubated by Srijan Capital. He has run online businesses in India and USA in last six years.
Earlier he worked as a Principal at Southeast Interactive Technology Funds, a venture capital fund in North Carolina, USA. He is a Mentor for IIM-A’s iAccelerator , and Microsoft Accelerator. Before Southeast Interactive Technology Funds, he worked as Equity Analyst with Bank of America, where he covered companies over $120B in market capitalization. He was part of the team that was ranked runners up in the Alpha Hedge Fund Research rankings.
He started his career as a software engineer at Hewlett Packard and worked in marketing, consulting and engineering functions at Hewlett Packard.
Ravi co-authored the book Web Services Security, and participated in creating web services standards. He holds a Patent for “System and Methods for Recommending Third Party Services”.
Ravi completed his MBA from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business and has a Masters in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
